How true. Fasting for me has forced me to deal with things that I had been covering up with the comfort of food. When we fast we are giving up food for something that in the long run is much more valuable, enlightenment. It is up to us to realize this and make that choice, food will always be there but the enlightenment we gain while fasting will remain with us always.

I wish you continued success with your fast.
