No, I am not asian, just love all things asian ^-^
I do have a home bp monitor already. I have tried Hydrochlorothiazide for 3 weeks and it did nothing but make me have diarhea, shouldn't 3 weeks be long enough to see some difference in my systolic?
As for the eggplant and water, I just got done making a batch, and will take my first shot today. I'm unsure why you think to cry foul on it, I'd be more suspect if someone was trying to sell the stuff, but an eggplant is a buck at the store plus a quarter for a gallon of reverse osmosis water at my dorm and let it sit in the fridge, so even if it doesn't work I'm out of at most a $1.25.
Personally I'm much more suspect of so-called "MD's", I mean they prescribe all these pills when they only can find a reason for hbp 5-10% of the time. It's like "Well something is wrong but I have no clue what is causing it, so let's try some different pills", it really is a shot in the dark on their part. Also if you look at the statistics and drug information sheets on a lot of those clinical trials, their laughable, well actually scary since in a lot of cases it clearly states they don't know why the drug works, so in other words they don't really know how it works and what it does to you.
Nonetheless MD's love it since your dependent upon them to give you expensive drugs and you have to keep seeing them, bleeding your wallet dry. Studies also show it cannot be proved that all the drugs they prescribe for hbp increase your life expectance, and studies also show that out of the millions of hbp drugs, only 40% or so do the drugs really bring their hpb under control.
