It is very difficult to find any health professional (mainstream or alternative) to recommend the Salt Water Flush, but it does have its advocates and opponents, and whatever merits it has as part of the Master-Cleanse detox protocol, it is most definitely not to be recommended whilst water-fasting but more of a preliminary measure to cleanse the entire digestive tract from top to bottom! (something that enemas and colonics only do partially).
I do not agree with it personally, but one member here on curezone, who I have a lot of respect for does..............
