:) no I wasn't talking about people who are actively wanting to change their lives and need support.. just those who use fasting as a quick fix and then say 'ohh crap I just ate a pizza and a box of cookies and cant get past day 2.' You can find these posts under the fasting for weightloss forum, all the time by a handful of the same people.

I think they need to rewind and get to the issue of eating a whole pizza and cookies before fasting. I see posts like these all the time, and it really is an ED in the making. The same people yr after yr.. who have nowhere and just keep fasting a day.. binging and so on and so forth was who I was talking about. And none of them really talk about changing their habits, or working out in regards to their lifestyle. They want to go from eating crap for yrs and being obese to fasting to attaining a raw food lifestyle, I'm all for changing and working towards being better, but fasting cannot cure everything and will not on its own. I think instead of people encouraging like oh you can do it, after they have spent 6 months in that cycle, to help them take a good look at their life style and what they enjoy eating etc. I'm not one for fad diets or restricting forever. I mean I'm against dairy but I still eat it once in a blue moon, you know what I'm saying? Not everyone is gonna devote themselves to the gym 3 hrs a day.. you have to look at yourself and yourself only otherwise you will just continue to fail. And life is too short for that. But hey just my .02 I have my life to live as they have theirs.

I don't agree that a raw food diet is for everyone.. or being vegan or even a *true* vegetarian . But yet I see on this site at times.. that there's this huge one set achievement for total 'well being' supposedly. I'm going off on a tangent so I will stop here :)

btw I too have had times.. like now when I stumbled and couldn't get past day 2.. due to emotional issues and what not.. I wasn't talking about that. I was talking about people directly abusing fasting and not getting to the root of their issues.
