I think she's onto something. She "said" something to me earlier today which triggered my "aha" button...very iosynchy - as is often typical w Battie. I told her a personal story/experience to further delineate the notion she was tapping into. It's something I literally ponder on a daily basis.

Why? Because if we are to believe the more simple theory that one should consume foods/produce locally grown and so forth - why not believe that our physical being was designed to remain where it began? And fulfill what it was designed to accomplish (essentially bear offspring) in order to function properly. (Another io-wombattasynchtic, same discussion, different subject) After all, if it weren't for the industrial revolution and global modernization, we'd never have left.

Aren't we all (those in the know) in pursuit of "getting back to the basics"? Is there much distinction between what is essential and what is primal?

So then we've got adaptation to consider. Good or bad or both? I say both.
