Wow. It's like reading my own bio! I finally decided to have a second opinion on my chest pain and back pain. I went to my primary care physician whom I've been seeing since I was 12 (I'm now 28). He was SO angry that they removed my gallbladder. When I told him I had the laproscopic precedure done, he looked at me wide eyed and said "You let them do this to you"?! I told him they didn't give me any other options. I was in pain and they told me this was the only way. Of course NOW I know better after going on this forum a day after the surgery and reading up on the procedure. Overall he was disgusted that this happened and they didn't even tell me there were other ways. He believes in homeopathic doctoring. Needless to say he was angry with the hospital for not giving me the options, or telling me there were other ways for me to get around this. I had severe pancreatitus as well, and I told him I thought that maybe this was why they told me it had to be done. I don't know. Anyone else experiance this and now regret ever having the procedure done? I know a lot of people who do. My friend had her gall bladder removed last week, and she told me she can eat whatever and is fine. How come I have so many problems and it's been over 3 months since mine?! It's SO frusterating.
