While my 1st & 2nd flushes produced fairly large masses and there was an immediate improvement in the way I felt, I finally hit a wall with the 3rd. Nothing but a little chaff came out. It also made me feel worse because I think there were/are still some large masses that had moved down and were/are blocking the hepatic ducts again. My stones are not the calcified kind or even the soft green globs like many (including my 15 year-old daughter) have passed. I've seen a couple of references to what mine are like. Someone posted a description describing stones that are porous, light brown, and like the inside of a malted milk ball. I call it corky or gravely. But anyway...
So I just completed the 4th flush. This time I sipped an apple cider vinegar solution (5 ounces of ACV with 2 quarts of water and a little sweetener - stevia - for palatability). I sipped this all day leading up to the evening flush. Once I started the epsoms, I put a heating pad on my right rib cage and kept it there for most of the 4 hours while the salts did their stuff.
When it was time for the oil, I drank 1/2 cup olive oil with lemon and watched some TV for a half hour or so and then another 1/2 cup with more lemon just before going to bed.
For most of the day (today) I still seemed to only get a out some of the gravely chaff with maybe a few pea sized clumps mixed in. By the end of the day, though, I passed what can only be described as paydirt. That is, a whole movement of the gravel that filled a good part of the bowl. It's almost as if a large mass had been smashed to smitherines and then proceeded out the bile duct. This was encourageing and I'm thinking maybe the vinegar/heat combination did the trick.
The proof will ultimately be in how I feel in a day or two.
The one negative side affect from the vinegar is that some of the bathroom sessions stung the rear skin upon exit because of the acid content. Ouch! I may not use this technique every time, but only for those stubborn ones that are reluctant to squeeze out the bile duct and face their ulimate demise in the toilet. No mercy!!!
Still flushing,
Rog
