Its best to do self pollinating or get 2 that cross pollinate well so your yields are good.Youll want to talk to the tree manager at a local landscaping firm to get some ideas.then you can find a good deal on line and have it shipped in the coolness of early spring.Apple trees are a bit labor intensive but worth the effort.I put in 2 semi dwarfs a yellow and a red delicious 15 months ago and plan to add a matsu next spring.Which is a large yellow delicious that is coming in now a late season apple full bodied with a medium flesh.very juicy and sweet but dosent keep for to long.Jeff.
