Hi Mouse, these are tablets ( your link) meant to be swallowed with water. They would rely on some measure of digestive processes in order to become available...and must have 'fillers'. This would be a very weird interruption/intrusion on the delicate balance that the body left to water only would be managing, in my opinion.

If you were to start feeling the need for something, you might want to try a bath of Himalayan pink crystal salt. I took one of those before my water fast, and think it might have made a huge difference. At any rate, it feels great. All the minerals, and as much as the skin wants to absorb. No internal (alimentary canal) intrusion. I think even Jesus would have felt sea-bathing was a good adjunct, for those so lucky...

;-)

I tend to agree with you re: the water of a stream or a mountain spring. (though I'm blech on the tap water. Not even a remote chance, where I live) Where the Hunzas live, as I think you know, (the apricot connection), the water is more properly a 'glacial milk', actually white, loaded with minerals, and this -and the apricots- was thought to have greatly contributed to their longevity.

* and don't forget the all-important vitamin D. The immeasurable value of sun bathing is what all the Hygeinists agreed on. It's acidic work, the detox and cleansing and autolizing of a water fast. And with the body converting sun to vitimin D it can do a lot more with the calcium reserves it has--as well as keep a balance with the other minerals.
