is NOT in my vocabulary!!! Fortunately for me... I have already witnessed miraculous recoveries of brain damage and spinal cord injuries in patients who had been written off by doctors when I previously worked in rehab and with a naprapath/chiropractor. As a matter of fact... I refuse to work with anyone in health care who believes that any illness or condition is hopeless or incurable and pride myself on being labeled as a difficult or 'bad' patient!

Thank you so much for your kind words and offering to send me the book! I would love to read it and will PM you with my mailing info. I actually saw that book link before (perhaps it was you that had previously posted it?) and read what I could online. I knew then that I wanted to read the book... and am very grateful for your thoughtful gift!

It's interesting that the first chapter is about a woman who constantly felt like she was falling. I don't have a sense of falling... but constantly feel as if I'm on the deck of a boat that is rolling with the waves! It doesn't matter what my posture is... standing, sitting or lying down. I know it sounds bizarre... but it's actually kind of a pleasant sensation when I'm lying down... like gently rocking me to sleep. Not so easy for standing... although my former taiji practice has helped me tremendously to keep my knees unlocked and roll with it so as not to completely lose my balance. I'm also extremely grateful that I don't get sea sick! *lol*

I got some very good news today regarding locating a neurologist and also paratransit services. Both are going to take some time as the soonest I could get an appointment is in Dec... and the application process for paratransit will take several weeks to be approved. Nevertheless... I am ecstatic and beginning to feel that things are finally starting to turn around! I am also busy researching all sorts of complementary therapies and exercises for brain regeneration.

I'm also determined that I'll dance again... in HEELS!!!
