Hi hveragerthi,

I don't get any heartburn, just the symptoms I mentioned, specifically the constant throat tickling that lasts all day and is somewhat relieved w/ throat lozenges. There can be a stingyish/burning feeling near the upper back throat, but it's usually lower down near the air passages and it hurts to take a deep breath. It's also often impossible to easily take a full deep breath. These symptoms actually started out with nothing more than some air hunger and then the tickle developed, and so on.

Can this ever go away?
