Keep in mind that peroxides can damage the tooth enamel. This is likely to be primarily from the acidic stabilizers added to the 3% solutions. The peroxides can also create bacterial imbalances if used too frequently. This can be seen in the condition "hairy tongue" which is filaris bacteria overgrowth than can also result from frequent use of peroxide. Our Science teacher told us about this back in 6th grade. He explained that this was a big problem back in the old days when hydrogen peroxide was routinely used as a mouthwash.

You may try pau' d arco tea as an alternative. Boil the bark rapidly for 20 minutes then allow to steep until cooled. This can be used as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory mouthwash. Pau d' arco contains 18 antiseptic anthraquinones and napthaquinones and 5 anti-inflammatories.
