I would have never even thought of trying to take Tums for a gall bladder attack! How resourceful you are. I got scared when I had my attack, and after about an hour and a half I went to the ER. I have this product called Stone Free that I ordered online. It is supposed to soften and/or break up stones so a flush can be done easier.I never really got on it, I am doing other things and am scared to mix it. Anyway, at www.kitchendoctor.com I read in the gall bladder/ Liver Flush Forum there that this Stone Free can stop an attack, taking 6 tablets each half hour, until pain stops. Well, I tried it after the other flush I did, when I had pain the next day, hoping it would work. It did not work, however I was not really having an attack, just was real sore in gall bladder, shoulder and down my right arm. I wonder if any one else here has tried Stone Free? It is made by Planetary Formulas. I guess I should start another thread to ask this question. I will do that if I dont get any answers on this thread.
