Normally I don't watch TV, but I heard on the news today while waiting for my car to be serviced, that the Dali Lama had gall bladder surgery. If I may borrow words from my mother, "I wanted to pull my hair out and having a screaming running fit!" when I heard that.

How can there be any hope for humanity when the most powerful and influential people on this planet are going to doctors and having surgery instead of doing a liver flush?

And what the hell has he been eating? I thought Buddhists were vegetarian?!?!
This is really bad news.
