1 in 6 (5 million)have been forced from their homes.
2 million are refugees in foreign countries
maybe one million are dead
the country is in ruins
the land is polluted with depleted uranium
the are having a civil war of sunni vs shia
they have gone from a secular dictatorship to a muslim theocracy with sharia law

on the bright side the price of oil is up from 10 $ a barrel to about 90.
