I'm sorry John but I just can't resist this: WHAT were you thinking having French toast, eggs and pizza the day after your cleanse??!!! I'm sure you know this but I just want to remind everyone (and to ease the minds of newbie flushers) that we need to be gentle on our bodies after such radical cleansing. Do you think our bodies LIKE to be bombarded with all that oil and Epsom Salts ?? Uh uh. But we NEED to do it to get the stones out.

So, to anyone new and anyone who's interested: Treat the flush like you would a fast, you have to come down off it gently. Start with light foods like fruit when and if you feel ready. Stay off fatty foods until you feel it's ok (probably at least a week) and then, only a small amount (test the water with your big toe!). Avoid them if possible. Eggs are a classic gall bladder attack catalyst and cheese is really hard to digest.

It seems quite common to have mini attack like symptoms for about a week after the cleanse. I had them nightly the time before last. I think as John said, that more stones have moved forward and been loosened. So I guess this means that we need to wait until it all subsides.

Anyway, John. I know you know all this from your recent experience but I just wanted to clarify this for anyone new, that the flush is not to be treated lightly. It is hard on our bodies and it is weakening and we need to "convalesce" afterwards. I hope you're feeling better now - boy do I remember the agony of my first full attack! I couldn't walk for a week after that and I didn't know it was gall stones so I thought I was dying!!
