Hi all,

I am 5 months post removal. I have dealt with so many issue for the last 2 and a half years due to the Mirena. It all atarted with panic attacks and headaches so severe all I could do was ball up and cry with distorted vision, auras, blurred, on and on. From there developed night tremors. Not to mention severe mood shifts and crying for no reason. Also my ear started ringing and I now have some hearing loss the ENT said. Numbness in extremeties. Pains from nowhere, sharp stabbing pains. Twitching of my uterus like a baby kicking. Hip pain so severe it hurt to even lay down much less walk or sit. Brain fog. no sex drive. Potassium, magnesium, calcium deficiencies (sp). Bleeding lightly whenever and for however long. Depression. Thinking every day I was dying of something. Always exhausted. Heart palpitations. racing heart at times. And if I sit here longer I will think of more. Well I have had 3 periods since removal and should be getting ready for number four.
Most have gotten much much better. I have not had a tremor since removal. I wound up in the ER last tuesday night Sept. 23. I was sitting on the couch and stood up and I had a palpitation that lead to a heart rate to around 200+ BPM. My husband was not home, just me and my daughter. I called 911 and they took me to the hospital. They gave me a dose of Ativan and 2 doses of Lopressor to get my HR down into the 80s. I made an appt with my regular doctor and she put me on Lopressor daily. Well I took it Friday, Saturday, then Sunday morning. Sunday after I took it my HR dropped to low. I could not hardly move and I was super white, no color at all in my face. Well my doc said Monday to take it as needed now. My hubby wanted me to get a second opinion, so I made an appointment with a cardiologist. I went today. He said he had no reason to think it is life threatening. He agrees that it could be hormone related. I am scheduled for an echocardiogram for Tuesday as well as a Holter moniter for 24 hours. He just wants to make sure there is nothing structurally wrong and to make sure it is working and pumping right. He said it sounded good and my stats were good going in. He is pretty sure it is a flutter or sinus tachycardia, or supraventricular tachycardia. That is why I am to wear the monitor. I never had any issues prior to Mirena, GRRRRR!!!!!
I was standing at the kitchen counter tonight looking at my laptop and my heartrate increased to prolly 100BPM.
Is anyone on here dealing with something similar or has dealt with something like this?
Has anyone on here tried accupuncture for hormone reasons or accupuncture for something else? What did you think about the results?
