The mercury is ingested very slowly, over many years. it settles in ther organs via lungs to blood. It is very real. The ADA dropped the restriction on mercury almalgum when they formed. before that, a dentist was fined or lost his lisence. Do not believe any one that says it isn't extremely harmful.
