I know starving the candida won't solve the issue and I'm not attempting to heal by simply doing that. I avoid Sugar which includes apple juice b/c it makes me feel very bad and I need to function.

So, besides diet, I'm doing IF1, IF2. I'm about to start the liver and kidney cleanses. I may not do them to the letter due to finances. I eat yogurt fermented iwth acidophilus and bifidus. I don't eat kimchee and the others you suggested b/c they also make me feel very bad.
