With the $5.3 trillion bailout of Freddie and Fannie and the $700 billion heist (not to mention all the rest of it) they could've just given every American adult $1 million each and that would've solved the housing problem and started the economy.

Half of them would spend it all right away and get the economy going, and the other half would hide it in a mattress somewhere.

No one would put it in a bank!
