You say it's neurological, but when you have thick white chunks of skin growing on your lips naturally you want to remove them. As soon as they are removed the skin comes back.

Do you have any photos of your lips when they were bad? Do they just get dry and crack or is there a layer of thick dead skin that grows? There is a huge difference.
