I agree with this and I don't think that smart water will be helpful in the long run. I tried different waters in the beginning and found that they mostly just sidetracked me. This is the longest fast I have been on and it is being on filtered water. I have heard about using distilled water, but then I read something about electrolytes that put me off of that idea fast.

As my fast has gone on, I am just drinking the water filtered from the tap instead of refrigerating it, I notice that that is a little better for me as well.

Part of why I am doing fasting is also losing weight and it is part of why I was discouraged in the beginning, feeling like I was not losing weight, but it just takes time. It also depends on the state of your metabolism. I just had to keep reminding myself that it takes 3500 calories to lose a pound and I have now lost weight by sticking with it.

Instead of using a scale tho, I go by fit of clothes. I even add to my fasting journal this fits now, etc.

Just stick with it, weight loss will come. Focus on your feelings and the changes you feel emotionally and physically. Fasting is a good time to reflect on your life and your needs.

If you are working up to 20 hours a day, it might be the wrong time to start a full fast. Perhaps try mini-fasting... like replacing one meal a day with water.. just for starting out. When you can rest and reflect without having to work so many hours, or maybe if you take a vacation, then start a full fast.
