Hi Plasticat and everyone on this forum,
I can relate with all of you...and I've been exactly where you are, Plastic. Had to leave school because of it and haven't been working for awhile, because I needed rest. I just want to say that the one thing that has helped me has been a chiropractor who knows applied kinesiology (sp?), which is basically "muscle testing" to see what supplements your body needs. But even better than that, he muscle tests for hidden emotions that are trapped within my body. I have to tell you, it wasn't until this emotional element was tapped into and released did I get much much better. I had been grieving for my grandmother who passed away while I was ill and had a really dramatic release. I think it's the combination of getting adjusted neurologically--getting your brain to work in order to reestablish good communication with the body again--and also tending to specific food-based nutrition and emotion. The first two months were the hardest. The next thing we are doing is a gentle cleanse. If you could find a place that does ionic foot baths, that is very gentle even though it can be expensive. I guess when I saw that you paid $250 a visit to you doctor I had to post a message also because I've spent thousands of dollars I didn't have on doctors who only helped partially and not holistically. If you look up applied kinesiology there is a list of doctors somewhere online and maybe you could find one. Good luck and I give you good energies. I'm still struggling with this chronic condition but it's so much better. There is hope and you're not alone.
