Given all that is happening in the world today, perhaps it might be a good idea to have a forum that would help people be better prepared in the event of some kind of breakdown or order or disaster, manmade or otherwise.  If nothing else, it might help many have better peace of mind - besides, self sufficiency and survival skills are always a good thing to know about.
