Fasting2goal - has your husband considered a juice fast? My blood pressure was near stroke level, resting pulse was high and my face would become flushed at the littlest thing. I knew I didn't want medications and that I had put on weight due to a drastic change in lifestyle activity so I decided to do a 30-day juice fast - I didn't have the self strength at that point to do a water fast.

On day 7, I was lying down and realized that my pulse was much slower than what it had been. I went to a couple pharmacies to take my blood pressure and in just 1 week it had dropped from 140/110 to 110/70 -- the only thing that changed was that I was juice fasting.
