Get ready to kiss another goodbye. This is just stunning. In a few short months 3 of the 5 largest independent investment banks have gone under (Bear Stearns, Lehman, Merrill Lynch) with the 2 remaining (JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs) on life support. And let's throw in a little AIG to sweeten the pot.
