Ladywear, your natural supplement sounds like it would work great on the kidney infection. I would think the only problem would be time. Natural supps take time and if you're really suffering, that might not be a good option. And have you tried d-mannose? It supposedly latches onto the bacteria in the kidneys and pulls it out. Dr Tietlebaum's(sp) Fatigued to Fantastic book is where I read about it. He claims that the "sugar" is not digested like normal Sugar therefore will not have an effect on yeast. I tried it and had a herx from it. Which was very strange b/c I wasn't expecting it. I have come close to feeling like I was having a kidney and or bladder infection starting. I start uva ursi and d-mannose and it never comes to a head, so I guess it heads it off. HTH
