Hi,

This is a complex situation, and impossible for anyone to sort out who hasn't taken your whole case professionally. A skilled practitioner should be able to distinguish betweeen healing reactions and symptoms of disease, and be able to tell you what your worsening of symptoms means in terms of the treatment given.

If you feel your practitioner isn't giving you satisfactory information or support, you might consider seeking another opinion. Often people need lower potencies first to work up to higher potencies, but it depends entirely on the sensitivity of the particular patient, as discerned by the practitioner.

Many classical homeopaths feel that only one remedy should be given at a time, but giving multiple remedies at a time is completely within Dr. Hahnemann's teachings. He said that only one remedy should be given "per disease" not "per patient," and within a given condition like eczema there can be multiple diseases.

And "at a time" means within the time of the remedy's initial action, which is often very quick, almost instantaneous. So in terms of general principle, giving multiple remedies at a time does not violate any principles. The question is, were the remedies the ones you needed, in the potencies you needed, in the sequence you needed them.

You might look at the Hahnemann Clinic for Heilkunst for a practitioner who could give you another opinion.
