Barrack Obama may be terrible underqualified to be President, but as far as the residency question, both Snopes and Truth or Fiction shoot down the whole premise that Obama is not legally qualified:

Of course I guess we could just label those two sources as far left losers - that seems to be the gist of some of the so-called debate here:  Ignore the facts and simply respond by putting labels and slurs on one candidate and all who favor him.

One notes that the recently filed suit, which Snopes addresses, was filed by a staunch supporter of Hillary Clinton.  As desparately as Hillary and Bill wanted the nomination does anyone think that they would not have used such information to sabotage Obama in the primaries?

Racism is very much a part of this pathetic contest that pits an underqualified black man against an emotionally unstable white candidate with far too much baggage among his qualifications.

I took a trip into Garland Texas to watch the Cowboys game this past weekend and heard the opinion of four people who all voted for Bush the past two elections.  Two said that they were voting for McCain and a big part of their reasoning was that they would not vote for a black person, though that was not the term used (I did mention that this is Texas).  A third person said that he could not afford another 4 or more years of Republicans and is voting for Obama.  And the fourth - well he had two bumper stickers displayed on the back of his truck that said "Veterans for Obama".

I realize that four people are not that great of a samplingl but even so, those are not good signs for McCain.
