This one suggests that taking a break to remineralize is a good idea with this type of chelation.

I'm happy with the results I've gotten with DMSA, I was sick enough when I started that I was willing to try whatever I could find to get some relief, and I've been pleased with the result. BUT you have to be careful with this type of protocol, because you can screw yourself up by removing minerals that are necessary, and getting yourself in worse trouble than what you were trying to relieve.
