I want to brgin a new cleanse the way it is recommended here, with improved diet being the number one step. I already eat quite a bit of raw food, but am thinking I want to cut out dairy as well, so naturally vegan seems the first choice. Alas I know nothing about vegan and don't want to waste my time purchasing crappy books.

SO....anyone have some excellent book they recommend that explains the history of vegan as well as providing recipes?
