Mirena had to come out, no doubt, but I feel like I just swapped one set of troubles for another. I'm 5 months post-removal now and I'm really not improving.

I had 12 pretty good days in a row (which is probably the most I've had in a row), but now I'm 2 days late for my 5th period and I'm feeling as awful as ever. My body is NOT normalizing itself and I feel like I'm facing this condition indefinitely.

It's the brain fog that really gets me. I just can't function very well. I was supposed to go back to work on my PhD this fall and I had to postpone. It's leaving me feeling very purposeless and depressed.

Just venting, I guess, everyone around me has stopped caring how I'm feeling (after all these months, who can blame them?) and I don't have anyone to talk to about how rotten I'm doing.
