Today, my cat vanished from my property. She is an outdoor cat for the most part and sleeps on the front porch. I went out to look for her and all that I found was a knocked over flower pot. I have a feeling she was taken by coyotes or some other predatory animal. The following is my descriiption of the corresponding dream and reflections on it.

The night she disappeared (last night, technically still today), I dreamed that I was in mall after it closed, riding my bike. I was wearing a backpack with enclosed said cat and a bag with a 1.5 foot wide hamburger in it. I stopped to rest. I took the hamburger out, set it on the floor, and removed the top bun. I then placed my cat on the hamburger as if it were a bed and put the top bun back on top. Of course, I wasn't going to eat said cat, but after a minute of being sandwiched between the buns, she got up and walked through the gates of a closed mall store (the gate was wide enough for her to squeeze through). I was very frustrated at her disobedience and went to try to figure out how to get her out of the store. I peered into the shop and noticed an employee tending to something inside. I asked her if she would bring the cat to me. She completely ignored me and went into a back room! This is where the dream ended.

I have made my own interpretations from this dream and think they are fairly accurate, while learning so much in this one day. I think the dream played a huge part in my automatic acceptance of her death. When I was informed of her disappearance by my mom, I had a total and immediate sense of acceptance of her death. It was later on in the day that I recalled the dream and made the connection between the events.

Today's Mayan Calendar Daily T'zolkin prediction was represented by the Mayan day sign "Cimi."
