Thankyou so much for all the advice. I had always heard a type 1 could never take the pill. Are you possibly talking about those herbal pills (with bitter melon, etc..)that are supposed to lower the blood sugar? I am not under a doctors care, I get the kind of insulin I am on over the counter (I don't trust doctors anymore).

Did you mean the U.T. helped with your weight too? Wow!

Good luck with your U.T., and I really hope your Psoriasis gets better soon. I am sure its worth it. Maybe you'll never have it again after this one big outbreak.
