I would not rush into it if I were you. I would follow my gut feeling. I would do more reading on the subject etc. I tried a fast after Christmas and rushed into it and it lasted a day and a half. I still want to do it so next time I will get prepared before. A few days raw foods (veggies and fruits) and they suggest (authors) not more than 3 days for the first fast. Now I know how I will feel and I am prepared to take it. I am looking forward to it.
