I have noticed how many young people there are..and as a mother of 3- 20 something year olds--I have such a concern for them...IF we were able to take the stuff we've learned through our own experiences, and teach them to the younger generations as "preventative medicine", they most likely could get cleaned up easier and not have to eventually face what so many of us find ourselves facing and having to deal with...but--had I myself been able to pass it on to them when they were young and it was a "normal" thing it would have been different...getting them to listen and heed it when they are in their 20's is pretty tough :)
Unfortunately, sometimes it takes a person getting to the point of being sick and tired of being sick and tired, before they start looking at this stuff and taking it seriously. It takes dedication, determination, and it's not fun to have to quit doing the things that most likely have been causes to begin with--I have a brother who has had the rash from celiac bad for 30 years...but he has chosen to take the potent "blood disorder" medicine from the MD instead, and won't acknowledge that the cause is the gluten--he'd rather still be able to drink the beer/alcohol and eat as he pleases--which he does...and he has health issues not only from continuing to eat the gluten, but also from the potent drug..plus the alchol..and the can of copenhagen he has chewed/swallowed for over 30 years...gosh, can't understand why his gut hurts him, and liver damage/thyroid are a fact, from the blood tests he has to get regularly to be on the drug. He's just over 50. Sometimes change is too hard, it's easier to stay with the familiar.
