Don't panic; I don't think its cancer. When I was 21 years old I developed a fairly big lump in the same area. I went to a doctor. The first question he asked me is have I been depressed lately. I lied and said no. I was embarrassed to say that I had broken up with my girlfriend and had been extremely upset and depressed for a few months. He said that this kind of thing(the lump)often happens from depression. In my case it went away after some time, when I began to feel better emotionally. My point is that stress and emotional upset can wreak havoc on the body. I am not guaranteeing that its not serious, but most things are not, especially at your age. Its a good idea to see a doctor, and be honest with him, not like I was. Then, in general, try to live as well as you can and reduce stress and whatever upsets you. Whatever problems you have look for healthy solutions, and also accept that life is full of pain but its still good.
