I also have had problems with constipation and someone suggested that I take magnesium every day. The side effect of too much magnesium is bowel softner/constipation relief. Magensium is water soluable, so any other excess of it is absorbed into your body. What a relief! after taking it for a few days, I have now become regular! It has been great.
