since you are around i got a question for you. i have been growing wheatgrass for several years now and have a very odd problem suddenly. my grass seeds are sprouting just fine and look great, but once i plant them (i grow them in pots outside) only about 30 or 40% actually grow. the ones that do grow grow very evenly spaced out. so an entire tray yields only a few ounces and makes the whole thing nearly worthless to do.

have you ever heard of such a thing? any ideas on why that might be? started over with totally new soil, same thing happened. just planted with different seed, too early to tell now if that will solve problem. anyway, weird.
