was taking 31 drugs daily, Chris. he had been passed around from doctor to doctor, referral to referral, all of them getting a piece of his insurance.he had gotten to the point he could barely pick up the paper. frank was always in good shape now,maybe only 5 lbs. extra on him.

i carefully asked him about all this, and he threw all of them away,except for his blood press. pill, which i at least got him to change to an ace inhibitor, the least worse. the change was dramatic.

frank lived another 3 yrs. still mowing his own grass.

throat cancer popped up,from all those cigs in the 40s & 50s,and between the fear and his relatives (they barred me from the room) the doctors killed him in a couple months. more drugs weakened him and pnemonia set in. never mind their own study that said old people in the hospital hammering vit c get pnemonia 80% less.

and grz can't figure my anger. maybe i have seen more of this than he has.i'm tired of losing friends to ignorance.
