I totally AGREE when you say ask questions. I found two good acupunturist on acufinder.com and they have a section where about how to find a good acupunturist in your area. It states to ask questions such as:

1. Training (where)?
2. How many years trained as an acupunturist?
3. # of years trained with experienced treatment(s) (ie candida, CFS, etc)
4. Are you licensed?

I called and basically asked these following questions before making an consultation to not waste my time. Plus, I asked about training in herbal medicine as and how long. But I do understand what your saying. I will keep you posted
