I have had digestive problems for over 7 years now, and have found a good diet that prevents pain. See my profile for further informatino. I don't follow this all the time though as its difficult to maintain and have occasional digestive problems, causing pain, bloating, waking up early to lower gut pain, not being able to sleep because food is sitting on me. I'm also just under weight with a very low body fat percentage. I try to get more calories into my diet and avoid carbs as they tire me out, but generally can't eat that much in the day and too much fat causes liver congestion, ie yellow stools etc.
From looking at the picture I have included in this blog can anyone offer advice whether there is an underlying serious condition I might be unaware of that with treatment could alleviate a lot of my problems.
I'm contemplating persuading my doctor to forward me to have a colonoscopy because they might see something like a polyp or tumour that could easily be removed with surgery that might clear up a lot of my problems.
Any constructive advice welcome.
