Nice post. In most cases a cleaner diet always relieves asthma. Also look into Magnesium, probiotics, and natural anti-inflammatory agents. Asthma has an immunological component and the gut is a significant immunity organ. Cardio exercise also helps since it increases lung capacity and nerve force. Of course there are many other things that help. There are all sorts of tricks to my trade now. People who become vigilant about their health become experts in their own maladies.
In terms of dairy I agree. However, have you tried raw unpasteurized dairy? I am a former long time asthma sufferer and have absolutely no problem with it. I suspect its primarily because of the probiotics and natural enzymes that don't get killed off in the pasteurization process.
I have a theory that the increase in Asthma over the last 30-40 years is partly due to pasteurization. Dairy is extremely hard to digest without these natural live substances, and therefore and easy scapegoat for blame. Take care.
