Well it depends on where the metal is derived, for example...

Arsenic found in apples, what is that organic or IN-organic???

Trace elements such as you mentioned, gold and silver, are found in fruits and veggies, so are they inorganic?

After doing a quick look you would get the impression that the Iodine found in sea veggies is organic, yet heavy metals can be obsorbed into the plants, but these appear to be inorganic, so I am very confused by it now, would need to do more research to be certain.

However, keeping in mind the chemical conversion of pure Iodine I would still prefer to take that kelp as it appears the most natural choice.
