It's funny you should ask this, I was watching a show on health and make up the other day and it said that you absorb 70% of anything that is put on your skin. I think they meant to say you absorb 70% of anything liquid, because the skin is semipermiable and blocks anything above a certain size. So really, unless you are melting the Sugar into a liquid, I don't think it will absorb it. But, if you are exfoliating with it and it is dissolving as you rub it in, you might get some of it.
