Has anyone tried this?

Paint Iodine (lugols solution) on throat or ingest it and 40 minutes later urinate into a cup containing some food starch. If Iodine is in the urine the color reaction from the starch mixing with the Iodine will be violet color.

Perhaps if you are seeing the violet color this may be a good indication that your body does not need iodine or that the body wants to expel the toxic inorganic mineral?
