yes you can sprout the seeds. the composition changes of course. its different than the plain seed. is it better or worse? neither, it depends. its probably up to you to decide which you like better. maybe you will like both?

i have heard of people sprouting the seeds by putting some between two paper towels and keeping that wet for a few days. eventually they sprout.
