I watched an old Mission Impossible episode last night and during the drama one of the actors mentioned that the world population was almost 4 billion. That was back in 1970. In 35 years the population increased 50%
Another 35 years it will be at 9 billion if the same rate is maintained, but we're already seeing some evidences of food shortages and even riots. A breaking point will be reached at some point in time, probably soon. One can only wonder how it will play out.
