I have tried numerous probiotics, all to no avail. I am currently taking LB17 and have noticed nothing from it. I want a good probiotic, as part of my regimine. I've read a lot of good things about both Primadophilus Optima and Syntol, each having their own pros and cons.
For the Prima - pros: high bacterial coung - 35 billion CFU's with a patented enteric coating to ensure protected delivery to the small intestine for colonization. Multi strains (14).
Cons: Must be refrigerated, which makes travelling with it cumbersome.
Syntol: Is in spore form which many believe to be a superior probiotic as it has a better chance of colonizing than regular probiotics. Does not need to be refrigerated.
Cons: expensive and has a candida killer in it, which may be ideal while dealing with the candida, but may not be good for long term use, as when I try to get pregnant, I don't think the candida killer is recommended during pregnancy. Probiotics, however, are very good during pregnancy.
Any thoughts? Has anyone tried either or both? Which would you recommend? Thanks.
