there's a bunny
who hops with the lightness
of being carried
and ironically might be left
because of that
then it spun to the serenade
showing a scrape on its back
all the while settling to eat dark and green leaves

a screech of a bird came
upon my quiet as an exclamation mark
as I see close the pink that can't hide
when your own sized eye
turns to notice but doesn't sing
yet I blink how that isn't a mark on you
though motivating clarity of creatures gets audience of nibble
